Our priority at Charles Fairing is to keep everyone safe and healthy – and that extends to our clients as well as our staff. We only provide approved electrical contractors and registered gas safety inspectors. Ensuring you stay legal is another of our concerns.

Charles Fairing understands there can be restrictions and strict legislation around the areas of plumbing, building maintenance and water treatment, so before any works are carried out we’ll evaluate every aspect of health and safety. We'll work our way through risk assessment, safe working practices and the use of hazardous materials before formulating a work plan.

Acceditations and Policies

Charles Fairing puts health and safety first and our adherence to the guidelines of the Safecontract Scheme ensures all our work is completed in the safest possible way. Where possible we possess the accreditations for each individual discipline: Gas Safe registration for gas heating and B&ES; SFG20 maintenance, NICEIC for electrical installations.

Our concern for health and safety extends to our clients too. Part of our service includes advising them on their own health and safety matters, we are happy to manage this aspect for any business we work with. Charles Fairing believes that an open dialogue on health and safety leads to a better working relationship and environment for everyone involved.

Staying safe via training

Charles Fairing training and evaluation programme ensures engineers, staff and managers carry out their work in confidence. Our staff are the first to know when new lor standards are upheld. As we evaluategislation and practices are introduced and on-site evaluations and supervision makes sure our superie our team, we regularly test and calibrate our equipment so it too meets legal requirements and performs efficiently.
